Here is the rehearsal schedule for this week:

SUNS Rehearsals - All Companies and Dancers
Thursday, December 19th from 7 - 9pm
Friday, December 20th from 6 - 8pm

Note - Look for an email or text about possibly coming in early on one of these rehearsal days for dancers to try on their costumes.

Upcoming SUNS rehearsals:
Saturday, January 4th from 10am - 1pm 
Thursday, January 9th from 7 - 9pm ( Full dress rehearsal)

Mini Company
Regular company class on Thursday, December 19th from 5 - 6pm

Jr. Company
Regular company class on Wednesday, December 18th from 6 - 7pm
No company class on Saturday, December 21st

Sr. Company
SUNS rehearsal on Thursday, December 19th from 7 - 9pm
No company class on Saturday, December 21st

**Arco and Teen Tap 3/4 will still have class on Saturday, December 21st.

SUNS Tickets & Waivers
Tickets are ready to be picked up at the front desk.  Tickets must be signed for upon receiving them.

Please fill out and turn in your waiver if you have not done so already.

Costume Rentals
Please return your costume to the front office if your dancer rented one or more for this past weekends performance.

Winter Break
The studio will be closed for Winter Break from Sunday, December 22nd - Sunday, January 5th.  Regular classes will resume on Monday, January 6, 2020! 

Please remember that there is SUNS rehearsal on Saturday, January 4th from 10am - 1pm.

Dress Rehearsal on Thursday, December 12th from 5 - 6pm

Jr. Company
Regular company class time on Wednesday, December 11th from 6 - 7pm
Dress rehearsal on Friday, December 13th from 6 - 7:30pm
No company class on Saturday, December 14th 

Sr. Company
Regular company class time on Thursday, December 12th from 7 - 9p
Dress rehearsal on Friday, December 13th from 6 - 7:30pm
No company class on Saturday, December 14th

Please note - There is no Jr. or Sr. Company classes on Saturday, Dec 14th.  There will be Arco and Teen Tap 3/4 (dress rehearsal for tap) at their usual class time.

Holiday Festival
Desert Star Dance's 5th Annual Holiday Festival is this Saturday, December 14th from 3pm - 6pm at the studio. We are looking forward to all company and class performances!  If you are not performing this weekend please come out and join us in the festivities.

SUNS - Waiver, Tickets and Shoes
We are still in need of waivers to be turned in.  If you have not turned in your waiver please do so as soon as possible.  

Tickets will be ready to hand out next week.  They will need to be signed for upon receiving.

Shoes have been decided on for this number.  All of Mini company and Daniela A. & Gracie H. will need black low top Converse.  Here is a picture:

All other dancers will need the white Nikes w/ the black swoosh.  These are the same shoes used for MJ last year.  For those who need to get these here is a picture and we suggest getting them as soon as possible.  They are called Nike Roshe and here is a picture:

There is also a Nike Tanjun that is very similar that would also work:

Note from Sherry - I recently bought some but was unable to find them in the size I needed w/ the black swoosh.  I purchased them w/ a white swoosh and will fill in the swoosh w/ black.  This would be fine too.  I found them at JCP.

No SUNS rehearsal this week but here is the schedule for next week and upcoming:

Regular Company class on Thursday, December 5th and new time (this week only) on Saturday, December 7th from 9am - 10:30am.

Holiday Festival Info
We will be sending the show orders for the Holiday Festival this week so look for that to come in your inbox.  There will be dress rehearsal for Jr. and Sr. company on Friday, December 13th, time TBA.  Mini Company will have their dress rehearsal in class on Thursday, Dec. 12th.  Look for more info to come regarding dress rehearsal.

SUNS Waivers and More
Please stop by the front desk and will out the waiver for your dancer.  We will attach to the email of this post also.  We have some costume parts they may be trying on this week too!
